My bad on the inconsistency when it comes to the blog posts...it's one of my resolutions.
2009 was pretty good for music, ( for both myself and in general) but '10 is gonna be ILL.
So far, we've met and gained support from KRS-One (if you don't know who he is, you're fucked up, but open up a new tab right now and search him on Wikipedia because he IS the godfather of what we call 'Hip-Hop') We've also put on a show at Sounds Asylum in Goshen, (upstate) New York with our good friend Dylan Owen [who has opened up for the likes of a certain Asher Roth], check him out at www.myspace.com/dylanowenmusic, he's ill. We also performed at the Thirsty Turtle in White Plains--they shut the line down because over 1000 people showed up within the first hour, with another 400 waiting on line; the fire marshal said capacity was exceeded by about 250 people. We have an upcoming performance at a local battle of the bands, which we're hoping to win.
As far as solo stuff, it's looking pretty good. I got the Mirrors and Lights mixtape coming soon. About 20 tracks...got a few recorded. Scroll down for a sneak peek at the Intro (with attached download link) . It's over "Intro" by The XX (myspace.com/thexx)
